Welcome to the New Hanover Disaster Coalition.

New Hanover Disaster Coalition supports nonprofit, faith-based, business, and governmental entities with a shared interest in helping our community during times of disaster. We serve as a central point of coordination, ensuring relief efforts are as efficient and equitable as possible, while also working to reduce the impacts of future crises. NHDC provides continuity across different disaster events of any kind and throughout all stages of preparedness and recovery.  

Donations to New Hanover Disaster Coalition help with repairs, rebuilding, food, clothing, financial assistance and other unmet needs survivors may have. Your donations will also help us with education and preparedness in the community. Donate to support New Hanover Disaster Coalition through our fiscal agent, United Way of the Cape Fear Area. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
